Patented Two-Layer System – The precisely engineered system is woven in staggered polyester layers that allow sand, dirt and dust to fall through the fabric without being able to come back up. Durable Water Resistance – The polyester fibres are treated so they won’t absorb moisture, ensuring sand and dirt won’t stick to it. This also means if the ground is damp, moisture won’t be transferred to you when lying or seated on it, with the two layers acting as a barrier. Spills or water splashed on the mat can be wiped up or pressed through the weave leaving the surface dry and clean. Of course, the patented sand sifting structure of the mat is not waterproof so not suitable for use muddy or soaking ground.

Great for more than just the beach - Aside from a sand free life for beachgoers, the Sandlite mat is great for picnicking, outdoor yoga and similar activities. No need to tie or weigh the mat down. Unlike other rugs and mats the patented weave structure allows air to pass through it, so it will not get picked up by the wind on breezy days and towels or damp items will dry out when left on it.
