CGear’s Comfort Weave - delivers all the sand sifting performance and durability of the Original Sand-Free Weave but the top layer uses a smoother PVC “comfort” weave making a towel optional when lying on it sunning yourself. The stiffer PVC top layer means that the mat sifts sand away rapidly as you move about on the mat, a bit like shaking a sieve.

Patented Two-Layer System – A bottom layer of original polyethylene (PE) multi-weave with a flat woven top layer of tough PVC lets sand, dirt and dust fall through to the bottom but prevents it coming back up. Neither PE nor PVC absorb moisture, so the mats fibres are naturally water resistant - wet sand or dirt won’t stick to it.

The non-absorbent plastic fibres are naturally stain-resistant, and the mats are easily cleaned with a hose or brush and water.

The less supple non-absorbent double layer acts like a spacer between you and the ground so can give better protection if the ground is wet – just remember it is not waterproof. It stays flat when walked on even if the sand below is soft and uneven, and on blustery days it will stay put without have to weigh it down.
