The Sand-Free Rug - features CGear’s Comfort Weave, a hybrid version of the original Patented Sand-Free Technology. Combining a layer of the tough polyethylene multi-weave with a smoother flat woven PVC top layer. The result, a mat that delivers the same sand free performance, strength and durability but a smoother more comfortable top, making a towel optional when sunbathing. This combination of materials makes this mat a little stiffer and heavier per square metre, characteristics that bring their own benefits. The slightly stiffer structure aids its sand sifting performance, as your movements on the mat agitate any sand falling on the mat, speeding its disappearance.  If you are taking camping chairs to the beach the mat can withstand them and prevent them sinking into the sand.
